Welcome Back!

I am excited to get started on the 2010/2011 school year with everyone.  I hope that you have had a great summer, and I am looking forward to hearing about it when school gets started.  I spent most of my summer working in the Sonshine daycare here, but I was able to have some fun as well.  I went camping, visited family in Missouri, and spent a lot of time playing with my new niece, Elsa.  I have a lot planned for this new school year and I can't wait to see you!

Geometry 9/10

Welcome to Geometry!

We are going to be coving many new concepts this year as we explore the foundations of geometry, logic and reasoning, polygons, circles, constructions, and proofs - to name a few.  We will be using some fun interactive tools to study new concepts and applying our knowledge to some situations that occur in the real world.

Math 3 7/8

Welcome to Course 3 Math!

This year we will be building our problem solving skills as we begin to build an understanding of algebra and geometry as well as learning about the number system, data analysis, and probability.  We will have a lot of fun exploring new ideas and applying our new knowledge to real life applications.

Religion 9/10

This year we are going to be exploring the New Testament.  We will be learning about the life of Jesus and how his ministry affect our life today.

Personal Finance 11/12

I am excited about personal finance because we will be learning skills that have a very direct application to our lives.  We will be learning about the importance of money management and how it can help us every day.

Religion 11/12

This year we are going to start by learning about the history of the Lutheran Church.  Throughout the year we will also be taking a deeper look into other world religion; their beliefs and practices.
